Speakeasy's debutalbum, Kayak, is nominated for Norwegian Grammy (Spellemannsprisen) for the best jazz album in 2009! The winner will be announced on a big TV show on TV2 on the 6th of March.

Johannesen:Furu:Sandbakken will release their debutalbum on the well known Norwegian label AIM Sound City later this year. Be sure to check it out.

This autumn I will start my masterstudies in performing jazz/improvisation together with drummer Dag Erik Knedal Andersen at The State Academy of Music in Oslo. I have also recieved a travel grant from the Fund For Performing Artists for a stay in New York.
